wiper motor

my wipers have been going slow for a while now and this morning they started to work slowly. got to work and they packed up completly had a look this evening and touched the motor and it was red hot does that sound like the motor or could it be something else. the linkage seams fine as i can move it by hand. thanks in advance ian

All the symptons you describe are of a wiper motor burning out :'( :'(

Either dealer of scrapyard for a replacement ;).
