Aircon temp control
« on: 30 July 2010, 13:42:48 »

The temperature control on my aircon seems erratic. The out side temperature seems to be controlling whether it blows hot or cold air .  So if the inside car temp is high, say est 30c  as it is when returning to the  closed up car  but the the outside temp is reading say 2 deg. lower  than temp on the display then it blows hot and makes a hot cabin even hotter . Turn down the displayed required temp and then it turns to cold.  So is there an inside car thermostat somewhere that could be playing up ? cheers

There are, but needs a good code reader on it to see what they are reading.

Not sure how far Kevin Wood is from you, he has the equipment and knowledge to use it....
