Boot
« on: 05 August 2010, 09:41:55 »

Can someone point me in the right the direction of being able to open your boot with the keys in the ignition, read about it somewhere before and can't for the life of me find it.

Thanks. :y

I recommend the Hilper Mod, but remember that your interior light will stay illuminated for ten seconds, even when starting the engine. I rigged an old TrafficMaster switch as a by-pass.   :y

Sorry, not with you, the button with the running man is for the alarm, not the boot. The link that Rob and I gave you covers the boot modification (by Hillper), if you have followed this then you will be able to open the boot at any time, apart from when the vehicle is deadlocked.

Yes I have followed the guide and it works fine (thank you).

Just mentioning that the interior lights stayed on for 10 seconds and that man flashed.

Right, glad you did the mod OK. As for the running man, he should not be flashing at all, it should only do that if you press the button to disable the motion sensors.  ::)

And it also flashes when you lock the doors. Flashes for about 10 secs (coincidence) whilst doing a self-diagnosis of the alarm system and once happy settles into a steady single flash rhythm :y
