Depends how the 180000  miles were clocked up to me personaly. If it had done a daily pickup for a jewler from sheffield to a whare house on the M25 there and back every day for it's working life then i would care if it had done 350k as long as it had been maintained correctly.

Had it have done a year as a local taxi I wouldnt touch it with a bargde pole regardless of it's mileage.

If it's all motorway miles, no problem, you can nigh on gurantee that a car which has done 50k in a town will drive worse than a car which has done 150k on the motorway.

+1 I have seen cars with starship milage on motorway work which are in much better health than the ones that have done the school run all there lives

my dad had a volvo for 16years, used it to drive from neath in wales to  south hampton every friday and return every sunday most weeks of the year, it clocked up 200,000+ miles. never went wrong. serviced it like clockwork, always checked the oil etc, he only replaced it as he wanted air-con!

so as said if it's motorway miles and been looked after, engine wise, i wouldnt be concerned.
