HELLLP!!!
« on: 04 September 2010, 19:31:55 »

changed rocker gaskets,oh wat fun that was, not, put all back together, now won't start, noticed i put plugs on wrong,so prob flooded it,just makes popping noises out of the exhaust, mini backfires, also on the passenger side of the throttle body should there be a pipe on that outlet?for life of me cant find one and cant remember taking one off, also two vacuum pipes that seem to go nowhere, one comes out of a t-section that goes in back of airbox at front of engine, others got a bend on it seems to head towards air filter, but looks like its broken off something?
and lastly between intake manifold and plenum some bright spark had used white sealant on the o-rings,seemed to be no need for it,so i cleaned it off, should some kind of sealant be used there?

Pipe to passenger side of Throttle Bodies, yes, there should be one.

Breathers, one with bend on probably goes to either front Multi-Ram or SAI.

Sealant, no, shouldn't be any.

God that is hard to read. you write like text speak!

First thing is to double check plug leads are on correctly.

Passenger side of throttlebody. yes there is a rubber pipe approx half inch in ext diameter. It goes under the cable tray to the back of the engine. i.e. parallel to the spark plugs

Vacuum pipes. Photo maybe would help? They all should be connected up. There is a diagram somewhere on OOF but my useless Internet connection won't let me find it.

Don't know about the sealant but suspect not just O rings and maybe some vaseline or a smear of oil .

Possibly the vacuum pipe to the fuel pressure regulator. The fuel pressure regulator is at the back of the fuel rail under the inlet manifold. The flexible pipe clips to the underside of the cable tray.

Or maybe one of the throttle body heater pipes :-/

[size=12]I suspect the heater pipe, as is the big outlet that points
out to the left, matching the one that points to the
front,,just can't find the pipe, maybe explain why air box was full of water, vacuum pipes are in right place down the back,  just up
front seem to have nowhere to go

Aye must be the two from vacuum box at base of reservoir,
means one must've snapped off,
cheers for that
Anyone can tell me where that other heater pipe from throttle bodies goes or comes out from,
assuming thats what's missing?
