Drop links
« on: 05 September 2010, 16:16:45 »

Just one of many jobs done at Newent

Odd tyre wear examined and the suspension/steering checked by MarkDTM who declared the outer trackrod ends "well goosed" ......

After great assistance from several people, and specifically MarkDTM, Chrisgixer, CapnZok - and Jimbob who just "happened" to have a pair of outer trackrod ends in his possession both were changed.. eventually ... Marks mantra of "heat always wins" being proved correct with the use of a camping stove !!!!!

Once these were done Mark rechecked for further problems and has decreed the droplinks need replacing.

Can someone "who knows" just confirm for me that these are the right bits for a 2001 3.2 Elite saloon ??

Once confirmed I'll order a couple .. :)

many thanks

IIRC, 17 & 18mm spanners and possibly a bit of heat. No plasters required for this one :y
