emission lights come on
« on: 14 September 2010, 21:30:51 »

Hello All
Just started my car 2002 2.2 cd  43000mls  and it took 2 goes  to start , normal 1st flick
Looked at dash and the emission lights on
( engine shaped one in orange )
Seems to be running fine  .
Should i be worried , and how can I get it to go out .
Thanks
John

On the 2.2 you'll need a code reader as the "tricks" don't work. Stick your location in your profile .. there might be someone living near you with a reader who can help.

Not a problem .. and you are lucky .. several very knowledgeable members live around Bolton .. I'm sure one of them will offer help very soon .. :y :y :y

and if one of them is Cap'n Zok .. he has a reader and knows how to use it .. as well as being a really nice bloke ...  :)

Indeed John we can have a look at your codes to see what it's complaining about.
