Fault code advice.
« on: 20 September 2010, 09:38:47 »

After being told the wifes omega is not running properly ( she says it is pulling back and not revving as normal) and the ecu light is on intermitantly I have just paperclipped it and got these codes.

129   Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Feedback Voltage Low

132   Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Feedback Incorrect Signal

135   Telltale (Checklight) Voltage Low

Any advice on what the next step is would be greatly appreciated.

Next step would be to confirm the engine type or is it the V6 mentioned in your profile (not clear as you mention wife).

If it is the V6 then remvoe the EGR valve and clean the pintle section with some oven cleaner and actuate the pintle valve a few times whilst doing so.

Then when re-fitting, fit a blanking plate
