2.6 Estate Exhausts
« on: 23 September 2010, 17:26:11 »

Hi, I'm going to be needing a cat-back exhaust system for the 2.6 Estate soon. Eternalcar seems to get a few mentions on here, but they don't specifically do a 2.6 version (plenty of 2.5 bits).

Does anyone know if the 2.5/2.6 are the same?

And also, 'Longlife' sound good on their website (if slightly expensive). Does anyone have an opinion on them? Or maybe Jetex?

Not necessarily needing stainless, more interested in quiet and quality as opposed to anything else.

Cheers,

Believe eternal 2.5/3.0 covers all the v engines, just need to specify estate and 2.5. But others will confirm so see what they say, as I've not used them my self.

Be aware that the eternal exit pipe is a little shorter than stock, but to date, I don't think there is a better value system known to the forum.

Seen a long life on an estate, not impressed personally, but others seem very happy from what I've read on here  :-/

Thanks for the advice Chris,
I'll make some more enquiries and post up anything of interest.
Cheers for now.  :y
