Hi
Classic symptoms of a failed ABS ECU.  Repairs to your item are available for about £100 from BBA Reman.

Elite now gone.  Bought an X-Type 4x4.  If there had been an Omega 4x4 I would have bought that instead.  We really liked the Omega, but I wanted 4x4.

You don't say where you are, but there is also another company in Nottingham.

Both repair for a minimum of £100 or more. Do a web search.

There is a how to in the maintenance guide on the forum. Quite a fiddly job but doable. Just takes patience.

Mine cost £128 inc vat and postage from BBA-Reman. Quick turnaround. I hear ECUtesting.com offer a good service aswell.

Personally I think repair is better than 2nd hand as the same could happen, and it might be difficult to source the part.

You will need the combination of angled screw driver and extension bars as stated/pictured in the guide, I found it easier to use one of the flexible screwdriver extensions (picture a spine in your head). That way you can bend it to the exact size/shape/angle that suits you.

It took me 5-6 hours to get it off and the same to put back on near enough. Would be quicker now though. It's got to be better than the reported £800-£900 Vx charge!

The £100+ is to get it fixed, it still has to be removed which is where the cost escalates if paying someone else to do it
