Windscreen Wiper fault

I recall reading post on here reguarding wipers parking in middle of windscreen, the same is happening to me, and I can't trace posts about same.Can anyone offer any advice or assistance about this, and tell me if there is any way to avoid buying a new motor. :-/ :-/

Remove wiper arms.
Remove the 4 self tappers that holds the whole mechanism in place. Be careful of your driver's side wing top as you draw it all out, it's very easy to dsamge the paint work.
The rotary motion of the motor is converted to a back & forward action via an arm bolted to the motor output spindle. It's this 13mm nut that slackens off.
You need to ensure that the motor has done it's cycle before you reconnect the arm. If you look on the casting, you'll see two arrows >   < the arm should park between the marks. A little Loctite wouldn't go amiss.  :y
