front brake pad sensor

hi all, brake pad warning was coming up so bought some front pads no problem swapping over but noticed the sensor was caught between the pad and the disc and now the sensor has worn away and broken, removed the sensor til i get a new one later but can anyone tell me how the sensor re-attatches to the brakes? i couldnt tell from the broken one....thanks. Andy

It clips to the butterfly shaped anti-rattle spring.  ;)

Yes.  :y Make sure you get sold the correct sensor, there are similar looking sensors, but they don't clip into the hole.  :y
