Pothole damage?
« on: 02 November 2010, 19:44:20 »

Hello, I've recently replaced w/bones, d/links, disks/pads, tie-rods, had the tracking done (not near any full geometry places).

Car was driving and braking lovely and straight. I then hit a severe pothole at about 20mph whilst behind a tractor (I didn't see pothole due to mess on road).

Since then it has been pulling to the left, especially under hard breaking (it was the left wheel).

Could this pothole have bent the track rod? I haven't had  a look yet?

Thanks all.

I'd be looking at the wishbone bushes first.
Ive had to change 2 rear w/bone bushes (the small d-nut ones) on the front.
Both were breaked after hitting alot of pot holes.now fitted with ploy bushes :y
