further to the code 59 I have reseated the connections to the ICV but noticed this hole, should there be a vacc pipe connected to it?Sory about the size , photobucket playing silly arses

In the metal bit?  :-/ It looks like a fuel pressure regulator clamp to me.  :-/

you should have made a circle around the hole.. i for one can't figure out what hole

Humblest apologies, yes the hole in the shiny metal bit. I have code 59 which is low voltage to the ICV and the car is running like a dog. I have cleaned and reseated the electrical connections but spotted this today, when I put my finger over it the cars revs change so I thought it may be a missing Vac connection but couldnt see any loose pipe. Was a bit rushed though

Any chance someone could have a peek down the back of their plenum and see if theirs has something connected to this bit? Sounding desperate I know but I've pretty much had it with this car over the last few weeks, cheers

It's a clamp! It's the 'hinged' bit, if you look 180 deg further round you'll find a bolt

I didn't see that bit  It might be that the regulator isn't seated properly, or another vacuum pipe is being disturbed - it's pretty cramped in there. But the hole is definitely correct, because it's the hinged bit of the clamp.

This isn't an Omega fuel pressure regulator, it's an Astra TD EGR clamp, but it works the same way. The hole on your is where the samll redius is at 9 o'clock on this picture. The two halves it clamps each have a lip on them, the chevron cross section of the clamp holds onto & pulls them together.

You're right though - does look a bit like a clamp so maybe it's just disturbing the pipe (which ought to be sealed so yeah, that would be a problem )

I'd go check on mine but I imagine it's different on the 3.2.
