The car that is, not me (I've been running rough for years!)

Started fine, then after a few seconds the idle went VERY lumpy and the EML light started flashing.

After about 5-10 seconds it cleared and the car ran fine again.

Haven't had a chance to read codes as I have dropped the car off at the garage again for the rattling exhaust to be looked at (possible link?  :-/). I'll wait until I get the car home this evening and read the codes then.

EDIT: just to add, last fuel fill-up was with Tesco's premium brand, Momentum I think it is?

OK just did the 'pedal trick' and got :

(expected these as I get the EML light on occasionally for a while then it goes off again, but emissions must be ok as it has just passed the MOT. Note to self - must get the pre-cat sensors moved..!)

Codes for general misfires and misfire on cylinder 6... well derrr Sherlock, I could have told you that! Well maybe not the cylinder 6 bit.....

Short drive back from the garage to work, ran beautifully, no sign of any misfires.

Mmmmm.... :-/
