Throttle pedal removal
« on: 22 December 2010, 16:52:11 »

Anyone know how to remove the accelerator pedal assy complete from a MFL V6, I'm guessing that there is a bit that's bolted  to the bulkhead and then the cable that runs through to the engine bay?

Thanks

Thats pretty much it, yes, undo the nuts from inside the car.

Will the whole cable pull back inside the cabin, or does it have to be disconnected and pulled through into the engine bay?

Thanks

IIRC, Disconnect the cable from the pedal, and then just pull on the cable under the bonnet and it should come through.

If its an automatic, there will be a kick down switch that needs unplugging (under the bonnet where the cable goes into the car)
