Oil leak is most likely the cam cover, strange as that may sound. Check the shiny machined face right on the outer edge (both sides) right behind the top of the cam bent cover. Unluck Mark MV6 had oil collecting in the same place as you and it turned out to be the cam covers :y

Dash just needs a few new bulbs, check the index in the maintenance guides :y

If it turns out it is the cam covers then they will need replacing with genuine Vx cam covers using the correct black sealant. Easy enough job if you are comfortable with spanners. Have a look in the index in the maintenance guides for the cam cover seals change HowTo and the how to clean the breathers HowTo :y

Strange !   I have a wife like that...South African, they need several taps to get them working trust me and then several more to get them to shut up ! :o :o

FORTUNATELY she doesn't generally read this forum but if I don't appear back within a few days assume, mistakenly, that she did !!  Tis been a while since I tasted hospital food.  ::) :-X ::)
