the thing that really kills cars is a change of use.

if, for instance, it's been lying around doing 50 miles a week for ten years and then you go doing 1000 a week, you'll get problems.

As discovered by an Australian mate of mine who bought a V12 XJS from a vicar then set off across the outback. ::)

That said, he was working for HSV so not sure what he was doing in an XJS.

Hi mine has done 239,000 it was a reps car and was very well looked after,its one of the best cars i have had and is doing 43mpg average never burns a drop of oil :y

Mind the taxi MOT is more extensive I know I would buy a ex taxi/private hire from the falkirk area as all cabs are MOT every 6 months to keep there hackney. :y
