2.6v6 omega estate auto

hi. can anyone help. garage told me oil leak is prob the head gasket, since then coolent contaminated with oil.. need advice and help to sort out. is there anyone in the verwood/dorset area who can help me sort this problem. im not stupid but not up to doing this job myself. thanks paul

your garage is talking crap, it will be the oil cooler that sits in the V

Oil in water - Oil cooler

Water / Mayo on dipstick, then youre looking Headgasket.

is it fairly easy to change oil cooler. im not a mechanic but i would give it a go..

Not too bad a job. Nowhere near on the scale of a head gasket replacement. :y
