crank sensor help needed

hi all you helpful lot...
i need to pick your brains again..
 looking to buy crankshaft sensor for my 2000 x reg omega estate 2.5v6 auto petrol..
is 2000 on an x reg the older model or newer...
and does anyone know the gm part code for my model...
i know someone will know the answer...thanks

Your car is  going to be the facelift car. Facelift have window switches on the arm & not in the centre on the transmission tunnel.
These are all the cranksensors.... I would think yours is highlighted

You want part nş 90492061 - thats the one with the oval plug  :y

Seconded. Just changed mine (it's a 3.0). The stealers couldn't guarantee it was the right one without seeing the old one. Even with the vin and engine number  :o

dealer has sent me the wrong one for mine yesterday(square end plug),awaiting correct one for tuesday :-/
