Sports lowered chassis?
« on: 05 April 2011, 11:42:21 »

How do I know if my 2001 3.2 Elite saloon has a sports lowered chassis? I am about to buy new dampers front and rear (and whatever else). Doing this because the square speed humps are ripping the exhaust off if I straddle them. Our local council have stopped filling pot holes and are instead install speed humps.

Elite should be self-levelling suspension. Check rear shocks for an airline connection. Only MV6 had sports suspension as standard.

But there were some cars with an identity crisis around 2001 or so... Best bet would be a polite PM to Jimbob with your Reg Number asking him to check the database :y

Oh and at the moment there is an extra 10% off TC prices on Disc Kits, Shocks and springs.

But i've not been given the green light to post that yet...............oppps :)
