Spurious fault warnings 2.5TD
« on: 09 April 2011, 17:57:53 »

I've got several fault warnings appearing when the car is  started -- brake pad, coolant level and washer level.

None are true. Can I permanantly reset these (not the temporary fix by pressing the stalk button, but permanantly by some kind of hard reset)?

Thanks

brake pad - checked the sensors?

Coolant level - float sticks, common problem

Washer fluid - could well be a sensor problem, i'd start but flushing it out a few times first
