Doesn't look it from the photo but difficult to tell.

If you tap it gently all around does the sound change?

i'd say no, that looks more like a burn. Do you drive an auto? Under 'spirited' driving, if you come to a halt in an auto and leave your foot on the brake, the heat can do damage to the disc.

Is it at certain speeds, or all speeds?

yes it's an auto but i'm usually careful to drop out of gear when sat still and it only pulses at low speeds before i changed them they were warped and at motorway speeds you knew they were warped!

Still no crakcs, only marks of heat, e.g. foot on brake for a good while when the disks have been hot  :-/

edit: must type faster...  :-X

Having suffered warped discs myself I have now returned to using the handbrake virtually all the time I am stationary.

Unless I am trying to blind the idiot behind me of course  ;D

Pulsing can be caused by other than "warping" or "cracking" ... have a read here .....

If you find that useful, read the rest of the site... several pages of very good information on brakes

thanks entwood that is a great site looks like i may have cooked it! i did clean the hub before fitting but it's quite possible i missed bits! anyway i'm going to try and get them skimmed as i wan't to sell the car anyway and don't want to fork out for new pads, went for the m.o.t at mazda and i mentioned it to them and they failed it and as they weren't oem parts wouldn't touch them without replacing discs and pads and they failed it on the wish bones as the rubber which covers the bolt had perished no play just perished and could let water in so i'm off to another garage when i've got the brakes sorted! and if need be will glue rubber grommets over the wish bone bolts!!
