COuld be a number of things

1) Leaking cam cover gasket - plug holes full of oil

2) Coil pack gone or going

3) Plugs knackered

So remove the coil pack (easy job) and look for oil in the plug holes.

If there is wipe it out, then buy a genuine gasket and repair.

Check the plugs if OK leave, otherwise replace.

If it runs like this after a check over nad possibly new plugs - new coil pack required.

Check No 4 plug well for water. :y

AA's excellent guide shows how (amongst other things) to get the coil pack off.

I had one from the VauxCentre last February at £71 odd - although I should have checked with andyc first.

If you can't get the pack out, Chris's great little tip will help speed the process.

Starting problems on a 2.2 may be down to the cam sensor on the way out.

Any codes?
