Contitech Cambelts!

Hi guys, just wanted the forums opinion on contitech cambelt kits? are they any good/bad or give them the miss and stick to vx parts?  :-/ :-/ :-/

They are both OE suppliers, so they are vx oe parts in effect. Skf also I believe...?

Yep Contitech kits have SKF bearings.

Just done Estate cam belt with Contitech kit - the kit I took out was a Contitech one I fitted 40K miles ago - apart from the belt being a little "harder" than the new there was no appreciable wear on belt or bearings.

Thanks Guys, given me that little confidence on the brand, so hopefully will be getting a kit saturday, thats if any places are open!  :y

Believe they are aftermarket manufacturers so wouldn't trust such a critical component to non OEM manufacturer!

I've supplied and fitted quite a few and have always used Contitech, there are cheaper kits out there but the Contitech is quality ;)
