We know that the elite has the autodip rear view mirror factory fitted but does a NON elite model have the wiring present and ready to install an autodip mirror or not?

My Elite was fitted with factory leather Sports seats from new so didn,t have the wiring in place.

It is a very simple wiring job only needing a couple of joins to wires that are readily accessable within the headlining.

Gets a bit more involved if you want to add the dipping feature for reverse and very complex if you require it to have the memory functions for the seat.

Fortunately I was not guided down that route as my seats are just electrical up/down so for me the retro fit was a simple job.

Dead easy to put the 3 wires you need from the courtesy light - not worth skimping.

TBH, popping on the reverse wire on is dead easy as well, just need to remove A pillar trim
