Hi,

I am new to this forum and I am thinking of buying my first Vauxhall. Car is an Omega 2.5 V6 and apart from the obvious , what other things should I be looking out for with this model. I guess you Omega owners must have a wealth of knowledge regarding problems and niggles etc.  Any help or advice would be much appreciated before I part with my money.

Very old thread I know, but any reason why I am not authorised to look at the thread mentioned above?  Has it been moved?  Also, just tried posting this and been told I am not allowed to post with links to external websites, maybe this is why?

I am after an upto date buying/what to look for guide, not managed to find a comprehensive thread unless I am doing something wrong, any help!  Hence link removed.

I have the opportunity of getting a 2001 CDX 2.2 auto estate with 75k on the clock and recent Tinley Tech LPG conversion.  All the normal toys, all working, cam belt just done, etc but would like to know of anything specific to look for?

Oh and priced at about £600, know that is a bargain, but want to know I am not buying a load of hidden problems!
