Water in spark plug wells

2002 Omega 2.2i - Water in spark plug wells, black sponge near drip tray is soaking.

Looking for most probable cause of leak?

common problem

its will be dripping through where the 2 halves of the scuttle meet.

Bit of silicone will sort it out.

could also be from wiper spindles
