SAI pipes removal...
« on: 10 August 2011, 11:10:57 »

I am thinking of removing my SAI gubbins for easier access for servicing. How can I blank of the pipes from the manifold as they can not be removed. Has anyone undertaken this project?

You could probably shove a 15mm plumbing stop-end into the end of the rubber pipe and tighten the jubilee clip onto it?

That's exactly what I did, except I soldered a short length of 15mm pipe on so the end stop is just proud of the rubber coupler and there is a good inch of copper pipe down inside the rubber. Works a treat
