Generic drop links?
« on: 18 August 2011, 10:00:28 »

Morning all..

I know we've discussed generic wishbones till the cows come home, but what about generic droplinks?

There's a set of wishbones often on eBay that come complete with droplinks etc (and I'd then just poly bush the wishbones).. but if the droplinks will end up knocking their wotsits off after a year I'd rather buy more expensive ones! (As the current ones knock like .. something that knocks a lot.

I got a cheap set off e-bay and after a few months they were back to knocking.  Got another cheap set and had a look at the ones that came off and the grease around the ball joint had gone dry.  Anyway second set are still on and seem to have lasted a lot longer so could ahve just been one off them things.  Thay are not to much of a job to do mate and for the price not sure i would worry about replacing them if they only lasted around 2 years. ;D ;D
