Sorry, I read your other post, but I don't know who repairs them, or if they are repairable.

They occasionally come up on ebay.de, but be warned, you need it to be in 'delivery mode', and you need to get it programmed to your car with a (real) Tech2 device.

thanks alot,i havent come across anyone else that has the same problem,a guy a a vauxhall dealership said that they either work or they dont,said to check the connections at the back,they seem to be fitted securly,he said it could be a dry joint and might need resoldering,if he can find it

Steffan Electronics in germany repair them....he often advertises on ebay....

Keep searching ebay.de under 'ncdc'

These displays come up much more frequently than UK ebay - I think CIDs were standard issue over there.

'HAMSTAZ' is a seller that I purchased mine from.  It was as described and in delivery mode (as Theboy rightly pointed out).  I know of another buyer who also used Hamstaz - and his works fully too.  Only problem is that it'll cost about £300 and you have to do an International Bank Transfer.

But like I said, that's two satisfied buyers - so at least you'll get some peace of mind.
