cd2c problem

Any advice before I condem it please  .
 This is very tempermental when it was working  ,it is now coming up with cd error it is showing there is a disc in .
 I have had it out and left it out of the car all morning this used to reset the error but its not happening this time . Any suggestions  before it is sent to the big skip in the sky with my boot behind it  :-/

Sounds like laser is failing.

If you want a CDC2 (either type) to borrow for a few weeks to prove that it defo is the CDC2 before getting another, let me know ;)

Seem to remember yours is the type that is for ccr600?
