DEPO headlamps xenon version
« on: 23 July 2009, 15:09:14 »

New DEPO headlights have just arrrived, but how do you adjust them to ensure you are set up LHD or RHD. There is a metal lever on the back but I am afraid to move it for fear of breaking it.
Thanks.

The metal lever I was referring to in the above post is simply a retainer that holds the adjustable (self levelling) mechanism in place during transit. These particular lights appear to be non adjustable in terms of LHD to RHD.

the lever isnt normally for selecting hand drive, just dampening the beam when needed to avoid dazzle.

I've got a DEPO fitted & there is no lever either so I guess it's in line with the price paid

Sometimes it's just nice to know. The headlamps didn't state that a lever wan't included, and the enclosed leafet included instructions for adjusting it. So you spend ages going round in circles. Having said that mine cost around Euro 145 for both left and right so can't complain.
