I had a simaler problem the other week,it was sorted by pulling the radio out over night,But if i had half a brain i would have just pulled the fuse like K.wood did

Are you sure that you didn't fix a poor connection at the back of the radio by removing it and re-inserting it?

THe radio been fine for 4 years,one day got in went to change channel on radio.Display went blank,when i got out of the car, radio and mid still lite up,pulled the radio out,it went back to normal as soon as the radio went back in.Then a few weeks after Kevin Woods had the same problem.display frooze pulled the fuse, all was well again.

You need a very small allen key to get the screws out then doudle din radio keys(Think they are about £2 on a well known site,unlike the £5 from halfrauds,i paid )
