Almost certainly a coin jammed in the runners - bugger to see

Most on here will initially say that they have checked the runners and cannot see anything jammed, and then return a short whilst later to inform us as to which coin it was.

20p / £1 or 1 Euro seem to be the favouriite cuplrits

Hope this helps

He has electric seats, wouldn't an obstruction cause the fuse to blow?

Could do, but I think think it's a 'make & break' motor.

Others have posted pictures on here of seat runner that have literally sliced through coins, so I think it may take quite a lot to blow the fuses !!

I suppose the motors would have to be pretty powerful, considering the weight of some folk....
Seems dangerous though, I wouldn't want to get a foot or something caught in the mechanism!

if the seat has been off in the past the runners might have been put back on misaligned so it would be worth checking this out or the fastening bolts might have come lose/not tightened down enough so the heads would be sticking up stopping the travel
