I use one of these myself.  My only gripe is the narrow choice of frequencies, though it does work pretty well. Not CD quality, but then the gayphone isn't anyway.  Like all similar adapters, with a gayphone, it needs a very high quality shielded lead.

Other options are things like iTrip - but these are not that good, though hugely convenient.
