immobiliser help please
« on: 30 January 2011, 19:17:25 »

Hi all after having starting problems me and diamond black geezer replaced the fuel pump and thought that was job done! The car still wont start and we think its the immobiliser as the engines turning over but seems to be holding back from firing u. ive put my diagnostic reader on it and it says the immobiliser is active even with the key in the 2 position, any help to get this sorted without the need of a tech guy would be great
thanks in advance

I don't know a lot about "My Naff Code Reader"s, but assume if it says "Immobiliser active" then the immobiliser is doing exactly what it is supposed to, except that it should be switched to "off" with the key in ign. Can anyone confirm this please?  ::)
