Courtesy Light Issue
« on: 04 February 2011, 23:55:30 »

The front near side door switch does not operate the inside lights or puddle lights. However, if the drivers door is opened then all inside lights including the puddle light on the near side door illuminate normally. I have had the door switch out and checked it with a meter and it seems ok. Is there a box of electronics or a solenoid somewhere that might be faulty?

Much appreciate any help....  :)

In a word no! Almost certainly the switch or wiring to it.

Yep, sounds like the switch, try swapping them over. If you are getting a replacement, remember that facelift are different to pre.
