Hi can any one shed any light on why the dash dimmer does nothing when i move it?

Faulty rheostat in switch probably (assuming you`re not moving the headlight wheel ;))

not replaced the lamps with LED's have you?

no it has xenons so from what i gather they self adjust and all bulbs standard (howay LED's) wouldnt ruin a great car!!!!!

I think Jimbob means, has anyone replaced the instrument illumination lamps with LEDs?
If not, then it sounds like you're after a decent replacement switch from a breaker on here then.  ::)

I had a similar problem, my dashboard lights went off completely. :( I bought a switch from omegaspareparts.com which came the next day. :y
