R/H side speakers stopped working
« on: 08 March 2011, 17:20:11 »

Hi,
The radio r/h side speakers have stopped working. Would this be a fault in the radio, or a door wiring problem. The dash has not been touched, or the door card, so nothing has been disturbed. The r/h side just stopped working :(
Any ideas appreciated :y

What stereo?

What happens when you operate the BALANCE and FADER control ?

Can you adjust to get sound in each corner independantly ?

Well done Dave :y
Unwittingly you have solved the problem :y
By asking what stereo I had to dig out my book and found it is a CCR2006. I then found that if you pull the on/off knob, it alters the balance...duh... never knew that was there ;D ;D

Dave knew exactly what the problem was, he was just too polite to diagnose 'user error'  straight away ;)
