Hey guys, me again. 

Due to problems, my car battery has gone flat for a week. I connected upto a mates car for a jump start, but can't get the car to start. I put the key in and as I try to start, it chirps and turns over but does not fire. I have a new key as well from a dealer if that makes a difference. They had the code so I assume that there is no probe with that

im assuming you have 2 keys, one old and one which you got from the dealer, did you try starting with both the keys??

have you dropped the key? also could it be something drained the battery completely, causing it to attempt but not fully fire up. TBH sounds like immobiliser playing!!

It's a new key from the dealer so no dropping. Something is draining the battery. I assumed it was the alarm so I don't use it no more. But shouldn't it still fire once it's connected to another car?

Unless you have a professional set of jump leads most sets won't start a watch much less a 3.2 V6 when battery is flat. Try connecting up your leads & leave donor car running for 15-20 mins. This will charge flat battery enough to start. Then turn off donor car & try car with flat battery (Prevents voltage surge & fried ECU's).
