Removing Bose
« on: 12 October 2011, 19:48:14 »

Hi all i am back in a omega now just bought an Elite 51 plate 3.2. Not knowing when i bought it that the 4 disc cd didn't work (had no cds with me) i was like ok i'll rip all the bose out and replaced with my hu i took out of my vectra. What i need to know is what is involved with changing from a GID to MID and wiring the stalk for the functions. I know i need to change all the speakers and wiring.

Sorry i know this question must have been asked many times before. Thanks for the help.

Oh i have a 2013 hu.

Wanna sell the knackered NCDC and GID cheap ::)

You need a prefacelift CD Changer loom - it has the required loopbacks.

Then you need to replace the speakers (put quality ones in, as GM ones are quite poor), then remove amp and speakers and sell them :y

Moving to ICE section for better coverage :y
