Tracking toe in or toe out settings
« on: 30 September 2011, 17:00:02 »

Anyone know what they should be for an Omega saloon please?

I have just changed my TRE and need to get it approx right using a long straight metal rod before visiting my hombre with his stick, string, turntables and laser beams.

Thanks

PS Shackeng - I now own a lovely well engineered dual position splitter. Good price too. :y

So if my interpretation is right yours was very slightly toe IN before and very slightly toe OUT after WIM.

I guess that makes sense. All the suspension component slack is taken up and it must be about zero when moving along? :y

I went to a motor factors and they hunted around and found an excellent quality job in the back. Two positions (small and large gaps), well made. 71 euros in the catalogue. I said that was too much and he dropped the price to 30. Everyone was happy.

Just pfaffed about with a six metre long straight box section. quite happy it is right enough to drive to not WIM here in Spain. Result :y
