lumpy idle and popping

fitted new plugs other day and the bus ran like tractor 1 quick check later 1duff plug replaced ,runs slightly better idles around 7-800with regular pops paperclip test shows MAF volt low,AICV volt low &hall sensor volt high any ideas,back up today to strip and clean all vac pipes &inductionsystem.    Give me a set of 40s any day.

Did you torque all the plugs down to 25nm :) as might find 1 is not totally sealed and causing back firing through gap.

Does it only run rough from cold and then smooth out ?

If it was running properly before the work you need to check everything you touched. I'm guessing that you disturbed something when moving the cable tray ;)

Popping normally means a lean mixture. Check carefully that you haven't introduced an air leak. :y

All plugs tight ,rechecked everything in areas i was in includin openin cable tray to check wires and assosiated plugs but will recheck when up today.Will clean &check all vac pipes and connections.    cheers  Baldy

I had a similar combination of fault codes on a different vauxhall a while ago.. The hall sensor being the one at fault knocking everything else out of sync throwing up 3+ faults.
