Dirty idle valve, air leak in intake, air leak in vacuum pipes, air flow meter... Anyway first i would check idle valve.

Don't look too hard for the idle valve - if it's a 2.6 or 3.2, it doesn't have one..

Any codes if you do the pedal trick?

Is it down to the foot on the brake or the load from being in gear? What about if the handbrake is applied in gear (no foot on brake)?

Just thinking, if it runs rough with your foot on the brake, it could be a leaky brake servo.

I was thinking vac leak too..

Marrus, if Kevin can't fit you in (so to speak) then you're welcome to pop over to mine; I don't have a Tech2 so I can only interrogate the engine ECU (no gearbox, SRS etc).. but that seems like the most likely place to look anyway.

'course having said that I should also point out that Kevin also knows a lot more about Omegas than I do :)

Saturday afternoon is probably best - I need to pop over to Bracknell Tyre and I'd rather do that in the morning before they get (too) busy :)

I'll send you a PM with my number etc and you can give me a call on the day.
