HELP! No acceleration after battery change
« on: 10 December 2011, 17:02:54 »

Just changed a battery in an 02 2.2 omega auto.

Started up fine but driving it, there was no power, struggled to get over 10mph to turn back around again !

Any help ?

Possibly. Ignition off then on again make any odds?

Not sure its worth dis connecting the battery, and re connecting again, but cant do any harm. Any dash lights on?

If the alternator wasn't working then it wouldn't be drivable lol.

Anyway, left it for a while, tried the ignition on an off trick and now it works fine, so don't know why I had that problem :S maybe the ecu needed to adjust to the new battery?
