Hope the rest of this week is better .....

Saturday - Went to pick up daughter from Leeds  - slipped off bottom step of stairs with big suitcase and tore a ligament in left ankle  :'(
Sunday - swmbo's car will not start - try jump start, etc, etc in the cold and slippy snow with bad ankle - no joy  ::)
Monday am - in cold and snow with bad ankle, loading timber into car for job (garage conv) push to far in and crack windscreen  :( :(
Monday pm - putting up door carcase into brick wall trip over hammer, hurt ankle, let go of carcase, which falls onto glass for window and smashes  :( :( :(
Tuesday (today) - mechanic mate informs cam sensor has gone on swmbo car (renault scenic) £150 to repair or £85 if I do it myself  :( :( :( :(

I better win the lottery this weekend  :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Sssh :-X Chrimbo actually quite nice to work, and got New year off :y

Got shouted at for quoting £70 to go 2 miles (and back later), less than £8 per person return, in a minibus on Boxing day. the woman was quite apologetic when I pointed out that actually it was £6 per mile for the bus and that I would have to charge the 5 miles to get there ::) What she hadn't considered was that we give up Our Christmasses so that people such as her can have theirs ::)

New Year, fresh start. :y

A sad litany of troubles Phil - I do hope things improve for you very soon but in the meantime remember to…………..
