« on: 04 January 2012, 14:54:18 »

Just stripped my engine cooling rad out today "looks like the cats clawed all my hands now" >:( When i disconnected the auto gearbox pipes there were some copper seals that fell off , now do you re -fit the seals one either side of the connector or just both seals to the front or back...i have lost one and left with 3 so confused about the re fitment .

It should be around or under the car somewhere. It would leak like a sieve if one was missing.I would imagine they are available from VX for pence if you need one.Its probably standard practice to renew them anyway, but Ive never had a problem when reusing them.

You sure it's not stuck to the hollow bolt?  :-\ That's where they often are.  :y
