Finally purchased the Omega - Thanks for all the advice
« on: 14 January 2012, 17:19:29 »

Hi folks,

Bought the Omega I asked advice about in an earlier post. Thanks for all the support and advice I'm really grateful. The only niggles I have with the car are:

- Error Code 1613 when I do the peddle test - (Car starts and drives fine and I have done a 60mile drive today)
- Door hinge on the drivers door seems to creak at each stop, any advice on improving this? Door appears aligned correctly.

Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan.

RobG: Thanks for the advice I'll order those bushes...I nice easy fix :-)

The Red Baron: Where do the Midlands meets happen?

eatmydust: I went for the 2.6 V6 CDX, 70k one owner, FSH inc. cambelt at VX main dealer in the end. As far as I can tell (at the moment) everything works :-) Is there anything I should watch out for?

Im no expert but give the plenum breathers a check and clean when possible ...that seems to be a must and one i check often . A quick look through the maintenance guides on here will keep you infomed of what you may want to keep a check on if you have any doubts . Sure someone will be along to inform you more of what if any to keep a check on . :y
