Dim dip mirror

I have a dim dip mirror taken from an Omega I cant remember what it was to be honest but it was not a face lift I know that
 Question is will it fit a face lift physically I am not worried about elrctric to it I can sort that no problem  :y

I thought I had seen something saying the mount  for the face lift  was different on here I will have a look at doing this then when I get 5 mins to do  ::)

The mount for the automirror with rain sensor is different, pretty sure the others are all the same. :y

Fitted pre facelift direct to my facelift mount with no issues at all.

Nah,its dead easy.if it makes blue sparks,its the wrong one. Join it to the other one instead - seemples. :y

Also,there are (possibly) more than two wires involved as I also have the rain sensor to (possibly)fit as well while Im in there. Depending if I make my mind up that I want it,and if so,find out how to go about wiring it. ;)

You got to watch those wire thingies. I once had a proper mini, and took the boot off to paint the rust bits. I refitted it, but got the numberplate wires the wrong way round. It was OK for a while, but when the paint wore through it kept shorting out the battery, so it wouldn't charge when the lights were on. Took a while to figure that one out........
